hey, guys! tomorrow, i’m heading out for a road trip to attend my cousin’s wedding up north. i’ll be gone for a week. i’m taking my laptop, but i doubt i’ll really have time for roleplaying. so yeah! see you guys in a week. off to start packing! :)

“Can you please remember that even if I do not want to be in vampire or other supernatural politics, I end up because I am not human either. I am not some nine to five work, not some college student, or someone who doesn’t end up hearing people’s thoughts on a constant basis. Alcide, I can shoot some sort of light out of my hands and only when it looks like I am angry.” Sookie sighed and moved to shuffle herself onto his lap. Maybe if he saw she was trying to be serious, he would see she was going to be in any trouble for someone she cared about.
“Look, you can try to keep me out of it, but you know now how I feel. I don’t want to get hurt again, but I don’t want to force you when you got out of a relationship as well. Things with Jessica, Eric, and all of them are difficult. I sometimes feel like I am the damn fool for keeping hold of the anger, but it is your choice.”
He stayed quiet for a couple of minutes, mulling around what she just told him in his head. He had been told before that he shouldn’t stay quiet for so long. He had the habit of weighing his options while staring intently, a habit that unnerved people and made them uncomfortable. He was glad the habit turned people into squeamish, impatient children. It was a plus. But right now, he stared out above Sookie’s head, not wanting at all to make her uncomfortable. “Sookie,” he started as he gently wrapped his arms around her, “Regardless of all that, I’ll still do my best to keep you out of Were politics. I just don’t think it’s fair to suck you into all of that, when you don’t even have a fair say. But, hey,” he put a finger under her chin to softly tilt her head up, “I do want to be with you. It ain’t got nothing to do with Debbie. So don’t you go thinking that either.”
His mention of Debbie immediately put the thought in his head: where did she disappeared to?
Sookie tried to keep herself from wiggling around on his lap. Even if he was not staring at her, she still wanted to know what was going on. Yes, it was rude, but there were times why she needed to use her abilities. Still, if he wanted to think about what the future went for them, Sookie stayed out of it by thinking of proving to Alcide trying out their relationship might be worth looking over.
Yes, she was going to admit it hurt whenever she was around Eric and Bill. Yes, it was going to take time for her to move past it, but it helped Eric and her spoke. Yes, nothing was going to be simple in her life even trying to date someone remotely as normal as Alcide, but she was willing to give it a go. Even as she tried now to keep herself from tensing at the only thought he had, Sookie nodded at his words. “Then don’t go thinking it has to do anything with Eric or Bill. Eric made his choice by wanting to plow everything and everyone in sight. Bill, has to think about being King and doing his Kingly duties. This is between you and me. No one else meddling in it.”

Yeah, go for it. If you want, you can plot going to the airport. Then someone else can pick it up from there I guess. *do-do-do plotting while there’s a giant hole in the story no biggie*
